3 Envelope Roast

About 3 1/2 lb. roast/beef or pork.
1 envelope of dry Italian salad dressing mix
1 envelope dry Ranch dressing.
1 envelope of dry brown gravy mix.
1 cup water.
(may also add cubed carrots.potatoes,mushrooms,celery etc. if desired)

Put the water in a large measuring cup for mixing.
Add all 3 envelopes to water.
Mix very well,until completely blended.
Brown the roast in olive oil.
Add meat to crockpot.
pour the water/dressing mixture over the roast.
COOK ON HIGHabout 4 hours.
Or LOW about 8 hours.
Use liquid to make gravy or broth.
Some use half-envelopes,I prefer to use whole envelopes especially if you add vegetables.
