Kroger "June Value" Event!

From June 2nd - 8th, take advantage of great savings on some of your favorite brands from General Mills like Pillsbury, Totino´s, Chex Mix and Yoplait. Just buy 5 participating General Mills products* in the same shopping trip and get a catalina coupon (prints out at the end of your transaction, on receipt paper) to save $5 on your next visit to Kroger. Look for special tags on participating products.* For more details on this savings event, please visit www.kroger.com.

This week my Kroger ad is featuring a 4-day sale with sweet corn .33 an ear, $1 Bounty paper towels and Sara Lee buns BOGO.  Just perfect for the backyard bar-b-q I am planning with friends tonight.  Also this week when you buy 10 participating products you will get $5 off you order.  I LOVE when Kroger does these deals because I can really stock up on some of my favorite brands.  I encourage you to check out Kroger's Facebook and twitter pages for the latest Kroger news and sales.  You will love grocery shopping at Kroger this week!

I received a $25 gift card for my shopping needs, what would you buy with a $25 gift card?

You can do up to 4 of the $5 reward coupon deals per transaction, so you can stock up on cereal or fruit snacks for summer!  Just don't forget to use the catalina $5 coupon(s) they give you before the expiration date.

“Disclosure: The information and gift pack have been provided by General Mills and Kroger through MyBlogSpark.”

Zaycon – Taking Orders for Ground Beef!

Zaycon has opened their ground beef event to many parts of the country. To see if your area is included, go HERE login and click on “events”.
The price is $2.89 /lb for 93 %. I called my local Sam’s Club ( 1-10 store) to compare prices. They only carry 80% and 90%. The 90% was $3.18 a pound! The Zaycon price is soooo much better! I am pretty excited about this one!
There are many locations in the Houston area to choose from!
These are the locations:
The Woodlands – Pick up is Tuesday, December 06, 2011 7:30 am – 9:00 am
Conroe
Katy
College Station
Cypress
Alvin
Baytown
Crosby
Here is some info on the ground beef:
• Fresh, Premium, Fine Grind 93/7 Super* Lean Ground Beef
• Comes in a 40-lb case with four 10-lb chubs per case (approximate weight–see note below)
• No chemicals, additives or water added to meat during processing
• Processed at a USDA-inspected, state-of-the-art plant employing strict operating protocols (including HACCP) and the highest in food-safety standards
• Prior to processing, inspectors from the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Servicerandomly sample cattle under a monitoring plan and perform testing for antibiotic residues
* USDA nutrition labeling standards defines “extra lean” and “lean” ground beef based on the lean/fat ratio. While not part of these guidelines, the term “super lean” is often used in the grocery sector to describe ground beef at the upper end of the “lean” category (i.e., “Zaycon Foods 93/7 Super Lean Ground Beef”). This ground beef product is 93% lean and 7% fat
