Pig In-A-Poke Ham Soup

4,(14 !/2 ounce) cans green beans
1 meaty ham bone
4 potatoes,peeled and quartered.
1 onion,sliced
Fresh black pepper to taste.

In crockpot,combine undrained green beans and remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook on high for one hour.
Reduce to LOW setting,cover and cook for 6-7 hours,until the meat falls off the bone.
remove ham bone.
Dice meat,return to crockpot.Serves 10.
Great with hot rolls.
